Calling all Schools, 10% OFF 'Science Days' for NSEW'10!

Mother Nature Science are proud to, once again, be working in line with the British Science Association and have designed not one but two special  Science Days to promote the official theme ‘Earth’ for National Science and Engineering Week, March 2010 .

All our Science Days are suitable for the whole school to enjoy and, once you’ve chosen one of our cool science topics, we deliver one whole school assembly show and a 30 minute workshop for each and every class. It’s like a trip to a Science Museum but without needing to hire a coach or get parent helpers!

New, ‘Green Earth!’ Science Day,
Pupils find out how cool plants really are! Using spectacular chemical demonstrations, such as ‘dry ice’, we produce carbon dioxide gas and explore how plants help reduce its effects and ultimately ‘global warming’. Pupils are also shown the significance of the ‘greenhouse effect’ using an observable experiment and fun renewable energy in action!

New, ‘Explosive Earth!’ Science Day,
Pupils will explore how the planet’s crust renews itself! Through fun demonstrations and hands-on activities we see how the Earth’s crust gets destroyed and re-generated through trenches and volcanoes. Pupils will have a chance to make their own mini volcanoes and through a simple chemical reaction watch it erupt!

We can also offer our popular, tried and tested ‘Darwin200’, ‘Colour of Light’, ‘Dry Ice’ and ‘Slime’ themed Science Days!
