'Science Day'
Workshops at your school

***************************************************

Our science workshops are equivalent to in class science field trips and are especially popular with schools during their science week. We have workshop topics to cover all specific aspects of the primary science curriculum and our instructors bring in specialist equipment that they use to aid enquiry based learning. It’s like a trip to a Science Museum but without needing to hire a coach or get parent helpers. Whilst most of our workshops are purely education based and an hour per class to deliver we also have the special ‘Science Day’ which contains fun science topics that  can be delivered in 30 minutes each  and ensure pupils run to their next science session. This means that one instructor can cover, up to, 9 sessions in one day.

“Excellent engaging presentation from start to finish which reminded the children about pervious learning on friction and got them thinking. Classes especially liked amount of practical participation – thank you very much”

“Relevant + ‘Hands-on’! Friction & testing materials came up in this year SATS so, all-in-all, it tick’s many boxes.”

Spectacular Science Assemblies
***************************************************

These 30-45 minutes sessions are designed to entertain a large group of children with spectacular science demonstrations and discussions to inspire their curiosity and imagination on science. Therefore, these sessions are most suitable to be the starting program of your school's science week.

The children really enjoyed the assembly and it was good to have the ‘Wow!’ factors ~ bubbles, fire… The educational content was as good as it would be given the size of the audience and age range. We enjoyed it ~ thank you!”

Mrs. Rosewell (Head Teacher),
Grange Middle School

The Best of Learning Mixed with the Best of Fun!
The Mother Nature Science Summer Camp 2010 features not only one but two different full week programmes! So your children can come for either week, or both! We believe science is very important to our children and should be the most fun and cool subject to learn. During both weeks campers will engage in hands-on activities, watch spectacular demonstrations and participate in enquiry-based discussions that explore a wide variety of scientific topics which are as entertaining as they are educational.
In short, the children will come home each day, their heads full of knowledge and their hands full of scientific take homes! This is a great value camp and one they will always treasure!

But please don't just take our word for it, read the (authentic) plethora of positive testimonials from parents we've received so far:

"Our kids ran to camp every morning and came back brimming with ideas. Giving them toys that reinforced what they learned about mechanics or electricity or hydraulics was very clever. They were also very positive about the teachers. You have done a great job of making learning science fun." --- Minouche Shafik (parent)

"Joseph comes home each day excited by what he's been doing + now wants to be a scientist! Thanks for providing such an engaging week."   --- John Coulstock (parent).

"Very impressed with the quality of experiiments, hand-outs & teaching staff. Excellent planning and delivery! Happy to send my younger children next year. Thank you!"   --- Belbi Kalia (parent).

"My children have loved this camp. They are learning + having fun. They want to come back and I would be very happy to send them there are new topics next year."   --- Katherine O'Rourke (parent).

"Jake has thoroughly enjoyed every day of this week - thank you very much..."   --- Erica Newman (parent).

"Ollie had a fantastic week."   --- Suzi Browne (parent).

"Molly and Sam have thoroughly enjoyed the course. Thanks"   --- Adrian Williams (parent).

"Both my boys came home buzzing with ideas everyday. I have never known them so willing to say what they have been doing all day."   --- Teena Lyans (parent).

"Niall has loved the whole week. Up & dressed early each morning ready to go.... I don't think any of his science lessons at school will ever match up to this week. He has definately had fun - Thanks!" --- Carmen Loftus (parent).

"My daughter enjoyed the "experimenting". Every day she had a new favourite. It wasn't a problem that she was one of the youngest..."  --- (parent).

"I was amazed at the amount of things done each day. Notes for parents at the end of the day were brilliant for us to get an idea of what was covered. Vedika thoroughly enjoyed the camp! Thank you!" --- Minnie Parulkar (parent).

"The sheets to take home to explain what's been done on the day were extremely useful & inofrmative. Excellent idea!" --- Vinnie Gough (parent)
