How many presenters come along?
Typically, one.

What is a suitable age?
Our general guideline is from 5 to 12 years. We will tailor the presentation to suit the age of the audience.  For instance, we won’t try to teach the younger ones the principals of advance molecular structure (unless they beg us).

What is the maximum and minimum number of children at a presentation?
We don’t really have a min or max.  Because it is very much an interactive program, we normally say that there should be at least five kids.  At the other end of the scale, when the numbers get over say 30, the participation level might drop and it becomes more like an interactive assembly.

What do you do?
We will entertain the children with a variety of fun science experiments during which we will get them to take part in one way or another.  A typical 2 hours party will begin with a magic trick because all children love magic. But unlike a magician we will help the children figure out how the trick is done because we are not magicians we are... scientsts. For the next 50 mimutes our scientist will go through the experiments on the table, some done by our star volunteer, some by everyone and some – for the sake of safety – by the scientist. Some will be highly visual and all will be carried out using our enquiry based fast learning technique which keeps the children engaged and interested throughout the presentation. Before you know it is 4pm already and that is when you need the food ready as we will pass them you for the next twenty minutes for food, drink and the birthday cake. Like the first hour, the food slot will fly by and we will soon have them back in our care and control where we will do a ‘Slime’ experiment with all children which will end with them each having their very own pot of slime to take home with them. This will leave about twenty five minutes before the end of a typical two hour party and you get to pick one of these fantastic options: Hovercraft Ride, Voice Warp Generator, Giant Balloon or alternatively for an extra £30 you can have the option of a Water Rocket Launch or Dry Ice.

Do you do special requests?

We will always try to accommodate special requests but each Instructor has his/her specialities and your particular request may not always be available.

What time slots do you use?
You are not tied to any time slot.  However we would prefer to start our presentation 15 minutes after the children have been asked to arrive.  This allows enough time for them to settle down without getting too excited. We also need to ask you to kindly keep the party to the schedule as our Instructor might have another party after yours.

What areas of the country do you cover?
We cover most part of London and the south of Hertfordshire.

Can adults watch the show?
Yes, and at no extra charge!  In fact we ask that at least one adult is present all the time.

Can we take photographs?
Of course.  We are only too pleased to see you snapping away.

Can we break the party into two parts and give the children food in the interval?
This is only possible for 2 hr parties and we advise that the interval should only last 20 minutes. Experience has taught us that the kids loose their concentration and it is very hard to get it back so for 1 hr parties we recommend that the children have their food and drink before we start.

Can you provide party bags?
It would be a pleasure.  Our party bags are always very well received.  They comprise six toys chosen for their Scientific interest and guaranteed not to rot the teeth!

Do you offer party invitations?
We are please to offer party invites without charge when you book a party with us.

Do you offer party foods?
No, we think we should stick with what we are good at, providing spectacular and educational science entertainment to kids, and leave the food to the professionals.
