Mother Nature Science Workshops for Schools, are delighted to confirm that the official British Science Week 2026 Theme is ‘Curiosity: what’s your question?’ and the dates are 06-15 March 2026. The British Science Association say: “All scientific discoveries and advancements have come from a spark of curiosity. No experiment was conducted without a someone behind it being inquisitive, wanting to know the answer. This theme is also a brilliant opportunity to highlight people in STEM who demonstrated curiosity and it lead them to world-changing innovations. But curiosity isn’t just about conventional science, it’s part of our everyday lives, it’s how we understand and interact with our environment. It can help us make the world a better place. Curiosity about the climate crisis and how we can protect our planet can lead us to make more eco-friendly choices. Curiosity about how technology works can help us be mindful about how we use it. Curiosity about health and medicine makes us more informed about our bodies.”

🔬 ‘Invention and Discovery!’– Through hands-on activities, inquiry, and lively discussions, pupils learn that anyone can be an inventor! This workshop explores how even the simplest ideas can lead to world-changing inventions.
